Command to delete files


Type the following to delete a file named “a.txt”

DELETE a.txt

To delete all files with extension “.txt”

DELETE *.txt /q

/q make sures that the files are silently deleted

To check if the file exists and delete

if exists *.txt delete *.txt /q
